Rolling with Purpose

At Sushi Classes of San Antonio, you’re not just learning how to make sushi—you’re learning how to slow down, have fun, and connect with others.
These classes are for anyone. Whether it’s a date night, a birthday, a team event, or something new to try, you’ll leave with more than just sushi skills. You’ll leave with good memories and maybe even a few new friends.
You don’t need to know anything about cooking. We’ll guide you every step of the way. You’ll roll your own sushi, laugh a little, and enjoy the food you made yourself.
Reiji Yamanaka, the instructor, is a fourth-generation Japanese American who actively works at multiple sushi restaurants in San Antonio. He grew up learning that food isn’t just about eating. It’s about caring for others, sharing stories, and bringing people together. That’s what these classes are really about.
When you leave, we hope you feel proud of what you made—and that you see food a little differently. Not just something to eat, but something that brings joy, meaning, and people closer.

MISSION

“To turn curiosity into confidence, and sushi into shared joy.”

Moments That Matter

Our classes are about more than sushi—they’re about connection, creativity, and joy. Every photo here tells a little story: of friends bonding, kids discovering something new, couples creating memories, and guests finding pride in their first perfect roll.
But don’t just take our word for it—read what our guests have to say. Their words, like their rolls, are full of flavor.
